Michael Scott Chapman
Mike Chapman earned All-Star honors on the
soccer pitch as a midfielder in both 1986 and 1987 and was named team co-MVP
those years as well.
A three year starter, he
earned Outstanding Player honors and was named to the Middlesex All-League
soccer team. A
three year starter in hockey, the hard-nosed defenseman was twice named to the
All League team, named MVP of the Christmas Elks Tournament and the Daily
Times-Chronicle hockey MVP. He earned the coveted Charles Kirk
Memorial Award, named after the ‘father’ of
Wakefield
